I always chuckle a little bit whenever I encounter this verse!
'A wise man’s heart goes to the right, but a fool’s heart to the left.'
Ecclesiastes 10:2 https://my.bible.com/bible/72/ECC.10.2

Me too. Funny how it turned out that way. Which leads us to
****GOD KNOWS EVERYTHING ****before we even know what is about to happen.
Amen.
Amen, Mary!
Blood flows into the right atrium and ventricle. Then out through the left. I see it as a biological metaphor for order and having your heart in the right place. If this process is not in the right place you have major issues
The flow of the blood is what matters, reverse that and you got issues. Counter to wisdom. And to your point, cleansing and oxygenating from right to left is like walking through the dark to see the light.
both are valid
I tend to think so, actually. The leftists certainly don't have a monopoly on caring for social issues. Conservatives want to reduce poverty and injustice too, but our approaches are sharply different. In my experience, leftists (and RINOs) tend to want to use the force of government to enact change, while conservatives want to create an environment that empowers people to enact such changes of their own volition.
Utopia is a world where the rich WANT to help support the poor, and where the poor WANT to contribute to society as much as they are able. That has to come from the heart, and it can't be coerced...so Utopia leans to the right, in my opinion.
That sounds a whole lot like how God made us. He wants our hearts and He wants us to know Him, but He gave us free will to either accept or reject Him because our love for Him must be genuine. As an all powerful God, He could have made us love him, but that is not His way.
Jesus sits on the right side of Heavenly Father
Just here to offer caution as to pride.
Thanks, mate. To clarify, I definitely am not claiming that "the Bible says" wise people are on the right of the political spectrum, and foolish people are on the left. It's just funny to me that it seems to say that.
In other news, as a conservative-leaning libertarian, I LOVE YOUR USERNAME!
God always knows.
Try throwing God a surprise party.
He'd still humbly act surprised, and would at least be very thankful for it.
LOL!
Right is not wrong, nor is it left🤨
Two the same: wrong and left.
Amazing. Love this
Yeah, that def wasn't my intent. Just said it's something that gives me a little chuckle when I see it. I definitely am not claiming that "the Bible says" wise people are on the right of the political spectrum, and foolish people are on the left. It's just funny to me that it seems to say that.
But don't be deceived, there IS a division, and a very important one: good vs. evil. As you point out, the lines aren't always very clear. But in my experience, that's usually because good people sometimes don't realize they're playing for the wrong team. For example, there are many well-meaning people embracing masking and vax passports, and thinking they are doing a good thing...but I'm not convinced they are.
God bless, friend.
Roger that, I agree with everything you said.
Okay then, moral vs immoral. Good vs evil. Good people are suppose to differentiate themselves from evil ppl
