Thanks for the post… My family lives in Kauai. There’s a Womens Bible Study that I go to when I’m there, and they posted some stuff about this the other day. So I posted the story to update them. Appreciative
Pretty sure the cross section of a weather balloon is well understood by military radar technicians.
Unless the F22 squad had some flight time requirements to meet a deadline for CAP flight readiness metrics coming up, I cannot see any scenario where they would intercept an actual weather balloon.
well there was a famous weather balloon in Roswell in 1947 so who knows really...
exactly my thoughts just reading the title....
This happens to NASA's "satellites" launched from Antarctica all the time. They always have jets like this retrieving the balloons but sometimes they get away from them, it crash lands in a tree or something, and regular people get it on video.
Satellites have been colloquially renamed by truthers to "satelloons" because of this. Videos are on yt.
