Wow. Interesting. I lost my sense of taste and smell March 2020 and still notice issues with certain food tastes and scents. To answer your question: Yes, and the trails are mainly running NW to SE and back; I can see the wind off the lake waves running SW to NE (towards city center). Lots of plane activity still up there today, going on 5+ hours now.
