We are a tiny country with 5 million population. We've never seen anything like this before, not in scale or in duration. Today musicians have turned up and they're having a sort of peace festival titled "Rythym and Rights" - a pun on a famous (in NZ) summer concert held at a vineyard called "Rythym and Vines". A very famous Maori Dame has spoken out saying "I don't trust the vaccines and the PM has lost her moral authority". America's Cup winning skipper and national icon - Russell Coutts is on his way to join the protest. A snowball is happening. In the picture above, the beehive shaped building is where the PM and Cabinet and Oppo leaders have their offices, the square building beside it is the building that houses the parliamentary chamber itself, the pink building at bottom left is the Old Parliament building now part of the university. All the vehicles you can see are part of the protest. The one thing that the government really fears is NZers propensity to follow fashionable trends, once a trend starts trending it never stops until every one is trending with it to. This is why we sheepishly adored the mandates and the jabs and the lockdowns (it was trending on Twitter) now though FREEDOM is the new black and more and more people want to be in on it. This plus a few political opportunists are talking about starting a new party to oppose the tyranny - the Kiwi looks like it has been awakened!
