People here seem to be under the misconception that Canadians don't have guns, they do.
They are in the top ten countries for gun ownership per 100 Top 10 Countries with Highest Gun Ownership (Civilian guns owned per 100 people):
United States - 120.5
Falkland Islands - 62.1
Yemen - 52.8
New Caledonia - 42.5
Serbia - 39.1 (tie)
Montenegro - 39.1 (tie)
Uruguay - 34.7 (tie)
Canada - 34.7 (tie)
Cyprus - 34
Finland - 32.4
I like how we have 120 guns for every 100 people, which backs up the 400 million guns stat, and is why Biden and the people controlling him have not been able to do what Trudeau is doing. They certainly want to.
They have guns, however the types of guns that they permitted to possess, no hi cap mags, no concealed carry, they need to have a permit for everything, and they all have all firearms registered. That really limits their ability to fight back. Take a look at the website for Cabela's Canada. The firearms section is quite sparse.
Not really true. They don’t track firearms unless they are “restricted”, but there are plenty of other models of unrestricted firearms that still are available and people with firearms licenses can buy and sell among themselves as they choose. Yes magazines have a rivet blocking more than five or ten rounds from being loaded, but that does not mean you can’t buy 30-40 round mags or 100 round drum mags or whatever you want. So it’s not really like Canadians have been effectively disarmed.
