Went to the doctor for blood work before my appt next week. The front desk handed me a face diaper. I told them I'm not putting that crap on. They said I had to, so I said I'm not doing it and they can cancel my lab and my doctor's visit. Walked out. Several people in the waiting area witnessed it and all 5 or 6 of the front desk ladies were paying attention. I thought the lady that was talking to me would have her eyes pop out of her head. Walked out calmly but indignantly. Feels good, man. Do your part.

Same thing happened to me at the doctor’s office. They didn’t know what to do, as the front desk all obediently wore their masks. They deferred to the nurse, who deferred to the doctor. I knew going in that it most likely would be challenged. I almost cancelled the appt. because the doctor had already sent the prescription I needed to my mail order pharmacy. But I thought no, I will see what happens when I challenge it. I told the office staff and the doctor that they know the masks do nothing, except maybe a properly fitted N95 and that even the CDC admits it. The doctor said, “The Federal government requires it in health care facilities and airlines.” I told her she could either see me without a mask or I would come back when masks were no longer required. I then left telling them I would not comply. Needless to say I will NEVER return there. My quest for a 4th new doctor continues. Their financial loss, not mine. If they attempt to bill my insurance I will report them for fraud, since they declined to see me.
