Had an old Hippie warn me of the Patriot Act long before I woke up. (Of course, she voted for Obama, so how well did that work out for her? LOL). A simple thought experiment that ALL people should do is to look at the situation as if the OTHER side was in power and using that new power against you. The main problem with Normies, is that they think everything our governments does is to protect our rights (and health; in the case of masking and vaccines), so there is a lot of cognitive dissonance happening when they have to see the destruction. Still see a LOT of denial, though.
