Good article but I have to say one thing. SOME OF US ON THIS SIDE HAVE PRIUSES BECAUSE THEY'RE GOOD CARS AND GET 50 MPG and not because we're liberal, climate hysterical weenies. And the only reason why I don't have a MAGA sticker on my car is because I never, ever in my life put a sticker on any car I have owned and I'm not starting now. Otherwise it would be the MAGA stickermobile.
So, everybody right now needs to stop using the asinine cliche that all Prius owners are left of Xi and his Pooh bear.
You say the profoundest things, which amazes me when I'm doing another one of my Daffy Duck, tongue in cheek rants. Except I am really kind of pissed about anyone thinking they can assume what my politics are by my car.
Never, ever poke a stick at a cat or dog person. I'm pretty much an anything that shows up on the doorstep and meows pitifully kind of cat lady myself.

All of mine have been strays, foundlings or came from an animal shelter. I've had a couple stray boys show up my backdoor and meow at the top of their lungs 'MOM! I'm home!' They turned out to be two of the most loving cats I ever had.
We get so many strays out here. Our latest just walked in the door and let us know we were her people "Naooouw." I don't think she was a great success as a feral and is living large being a pampered pet. I was thrilled a few days ago when she purred for the first time. It was more of a vibration than a sound. And the next day she actually purred aloud. It was obviously hard, almost a soft purr/growl.
Prius drivers are the most likely candidate for driving too slow in the passing lane. By the way in the US that's the far left lane in case you actually didn't know. They are more fixated on their miles per gallon indicator than actually how to drive in traffic. Its a rare day when a Prius driver doesn't appear to be staring forward in a trance without regard for anything behind or beside them. Why even include mirrors on a Prius. Finally I have a target audience for my comments other than just shaking my fist as I make my way around them in the lanes to the right. Wake up already and move over.
