If anyone is knowledgeable re China/Taiwan relations, I'd be interested to know how we should be viewing any moves China may make against Taiwan. From my POV, Taiwan wants independence and democracy. I'm not clear how such a move by Xi would be to our benefit. Unless Taiwan is another DS stronghold.
