I so dismayed by this. Again and again. No one seems to understand Watergate was a set up to remove a popularly elected President. Why does our side accept their narrative?
The burglars were deep state. Duh. There was no move Nixon had. He did the smartest thing. Those he thought were his allies were not. They all set him up. All collusion between the press and deep state. They got rid of him through a coup and for some reason we don't understand that. But rather, we actually think Richard Nixon was the sinister one.
Watergate was a monstrous scandal. But not at all for what you people claim. Perpetuation of the Watergate myth is exactly what led to Trump's numerous persecutions. THEY WERE NEVER PUNISHED. But again how could they be? Apparently our side is too fucking stupid to know the most obvious political truth: our government is organized crime masquerading as political parties, but yeah Nixon is the real baddie.
