I've read posts on the site that state that Sagat was a pedophile. I don't think anyone of us knows for sure, but let's suppose he was. And not only that he was, but that certain people have such overwhelming evidence that if he were to go on trial, would either get life, or maybe the death penalty. What if these certain people believe such crimes shouldn't have to wait for legal punishment? What if they were "white hats" who believed it was proper, all things considered, to execute without trial? Have there been other suspected pedophiles who have also died under not-so-ordinary circumstances in the past year? If this were a pattern, it may mean this theory could be true. Thoughts? Or better yet, additional "sauce" for this theory :)

There have been so many comments here that speculate "white hats" are taking out someone who, in the present Big Picture, is not really that important, whatever their personal sins. Many deaths have been met with glee, like this is important to anything but the commenters own punitive wishes. Old people who have left public life and are unwell anyway. Media types who certainly look dirty, but never charged, let alone convicted. Does it make any sense at all that "white hats" are spending their precious time saving the Grim Reaper a month or a year to do away with a 90 year old in a wheelchair, when much more agile foes are out there? Or that a (probably) relatively small group of "white hats" are going to go to the trouble and risk of exposure to execute one pedophile here and there? I can't call anyone a white hat that is so inefficient and capricious as to spend time on illegal vengeance murders when the world's finances, health, and very humanity is at stake. I wouldn't hope for a second that they were going to change the world if this was how they used their resources.
Maybe I've just seen too many Tom Clancy movies :) (or read too many Grisham novels)
