I heard internet rumors that the Russians seized Chernobyl so quickly because the Ukrainians were hiding illegal nuclear weapons there. It would be a great place to hide them because a) nobody would accidentally find them there, and b) more importantly, the latent radiation from Chernobyl would mask the radiation emissions from the weapons. It would be a perfect place to hide them. AFAIK they aren't supposed to have them for treaty purposes, so who gave nukes to them?
Anybody else hear this? Obviously totally unconfirmed.
Heard too that the casings are weakened and if the DS were able to lob a bomb in there for a FF, it would be devastating not just for Ukraine but for neighbouring countries like turkey, Russia, Poland, Germany etc.
In Ezra Cohen's recent tweets he sort of hinted at a scenario where Turkey would be hit by nuclear fallout from a Chernobyl ff situation and then Erdogan would claim he/NATO have been attacked by Russia, thus triggering an Article 5 response.
I read his posts and haven’t for a week or so. But on Telegram. It does seem probable. NATO are the cause of most of the worldwide wars. They’ve become a law unto themselves. I must go and catch up with his posts. Thanks!
PS. Have you seen his latest on telegram??. 👀 👀. Just WOW.
no, what is his Telegram handle?
