Victor was a botanist. He built the mechanism of his flying platform from insect wings/ wing husks. This is one of his later year upgrades. He flew the thing at altitude and high speed all over the place for years. No "thrust". Works on a displacement principle. The bubble was roughly 7 to 8 feet rad. Inside, no wind or other effects of motion.
