It's not really censor proof when you're relying on someone else's network to deliver content. The domain name can be seized by the authorities, the upstream provider can be "pressured" to drop them, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and Comcast could block access to the servers from their networks and the casual users disappear because they're not going to install a VPN to try and keep accessing things.
Ever heard of Starlink? Ever wonder why millions of IP addresses were transferred from DoD to a very small Internet company based in Florida only to be returned less than a year later?
And if whitehats are really in charge, everything you said couldn't happen.
Yeah, I USE Starlink, but exactly what do you think the ground stations it uses are connected to? The same internet interconnect points that Comcast and Verizon and AT&T all use. Elon Musk doesn't own those.
