Not really over. If this was a movie, the 'convoy' protest became the halfway point in the script where there is a game changing scene, what seemed hopeless suddenly has a potential solution. (If we are nearing the end, the convoys was what brought us out of the "all is lost" problem that is the start of the setup for the final challenge.
To OP: This is planned for 8 years (assuming Q statements on the matter true), and we are in year 6 based on that time frame. There's no harm in taking a break, find a new hobby, take your mind off things for a little. We will still be here.
I moved here from Texas and I am in the oil industry. Everyone hates us even though we are awesome. Kids go to Peak to Peak and we live 3 blocks away. We would love to meet people like us!
Lol! I hear you...we aren't liked very much around the neighborhood either and are closing on our new home in coastal Alabama in less than two weeks. Would totally meet up if we were staying in the area. We just can't take it anymore. Kids are grown, which will be the hardest part of leaving, but it's time. I've watched this state take a nose dive for nearly twenty years. It's sad, really.
Our elderly parents are back in GA where we're from, so it'll be a nice move back closer to them and to a lot more like-minded people.
