Humor has more power than anyone thinks it does. I was sitting down with my family the other day and my wife asked "How did we go from 'gays bad' thirty years ago to 'gays are better than you' now?"

I responded "Sitcoms and comedies, but especially romantic comedies."

She just laughed at me at first, but then I explained to her that the easiest way to get people to accept something is to get them to laugh about it, and especially laugh with it.

Now think back to 20+ years ago when faggots started showing up in everything. What was the faggot character in every sitcom and movie? The funny one. They got all the good jokes, all the good lines, and you laughed right along with them. Then the faggots weren't just the funny ones, but they were the main character's sidekick, funny person and moral advisor. They got all of the funny lines, and then they started getting the "wise advisor" lines too.

Before long your attitude changed from "Using your dick push another man's shit in is disgusting" to "Gay people aren't so bad, they're funny and happy people just like us, and many of them are very wise about life".

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, hollywood isn't showing you the rates of disease, the rates of spouse abuse, the rates of adopted child abuse, the rates of suicide, the rates of pedophilia and everything else that goes on inside of the LGBT community.

Nope, they're just great old people because they made you laugh.
