Bad, fearful take, IMO. I understand that some of the people destroying our country are foreign, but they would get nowhere without the support of "Americans" with self serving interests.
Some of the most patriotic people I know are ones who lived in another country, saw the greatness of the American way of life, and then worked hard to obtain citizenship.
People who immigrated legally are the ones who know the value of America.
People born here are more likely to take it for granted.
That is stinkin’ thinkin’. This country was made by and for European Christians. “ Our posterity “, remember?
I remember what life was like in America before the globalists opened the immigration floodgates. It was superior in every way to the drag queen empire we’re forced to live in now.
Plenty of white degenerates push those things you describe. American values goes beyond skin color or trying to take credit for something generations ago did.
Great point.
Absolutely true. I'm from a family of immigrants. But that doesn't mean they should hold political office higher than the local level. Too mean? Too bad, given what my grandparents escaped from I'm very grateful to be here, but allowing foreign born anybody to hold high office is suicidal.
That seems like a valid conversation to have! Discussing the upper limit of office for a foreign born candidate seems like a productive one, but OPs outright banning seems like too strong of a response to me.
I think there are plenty of Australians, Canadians, Frenchmen, etc who undoubtedly have more of an American Spirit than many of the apathetic countrymen we have currently. I would prefer they stay in their countries and build movements there that foment positive change, but they could also be a powerful addition to our citizenry, and their perspective could be a valuable one to consider when making policy decisions.
I'm not saying we should give any high office to a border hopper, but for those legal immigrants who speak fluent English and had to work to earn their citizenship, learning the value of the ideals of our Founding Fathers along the way, I believe they are perfectly equipped to hold political office if they feel it is their calling.
I believe the "Americans" you speak of are actually globalists.
Many of them probably are, lol. Or at least selfish pricks.
They can go back home.
