A more generic answer would be that we need a great awakening. People need to understand the reality they have been living under before they can change it.

Regarding crypto i can only speculate. I suspect it can change the economic system to the better. However, crypto is dependent on telecom infrastructure and right now one family holds all the patents and controls a majority of the companies.
