"...which in large amounts...." This is an age-old issue. When the FDA first started banning and/or limiting items in food and drugs, they were finding things that caused cancer.... in large amounts. Eventually it was revealed that "in large amounts" amounted to something like 3,000 to 10,000 times what a normal exposure would be. I think it was more FDA trying to justify their existence than any real harm threat to the public. So.... ho hum.
