Midterms question

Aussie here. Bit confused about the US midterms-could Biden lose and be replaced or are you stuck with him til 2024? (obvs unless something happens and Trump comes back.) Can anyone explain for me?

Mid-Terms take place in November (between presidential races). We vote for congressional, state and local races. During mid terms we have the opportunity to flip the house and senate. Which I am confident we will do and at that time let the investigations roll.
