It’s the new mandated way to applaud your humble masters! We’re all in this together so we must make sure that applause doesn’t hurt our senior citizen congressmen and women’s ears. They shouldn’t be asked to turn their hearing aids up and down constantly as they will tire. For me personally I hope to be as energetic as these inspirational seniors if I’m lucky enough to see my own seniority.
