Bacterial pneumonia was not the Spanish flu. Bacterial pneumonia was what people got for wearing cloth masks, without cleaning them often enough. Bacteria with hot moist breath trapped on your face caused the Bacterial pneumonia, the Spanish flu was a very virulent flu.
True for the masks and so many have it now, how healthy right? You’d think they’d have learned from that but oopsie! looked over that one. Masks are the last to go, it looks like, too. Gates ( not his dad, his great grandfather or his kin ) was experimenting with meningitis

The article says more or less the Spanish flu was bacterial meningitis from the vaccine.... not bacterial pneumonia. Technically they don't know what flu the Spanish flu was, doesn't mean it didn't exist, just that they didn't know what it was. I do remember reading that half or more of the Spanish flu cases were misdiagnosed bacterial pneumonia.
