I am trying to understand this better.. if Biden didnt block the pipeline would gas prices still be high right now? Would this of helped us in any way? When i google this, it says it wouldnt change anything for us bexause it was being sent to other countries or something like that

The completion of Phase 4 would have reduced dependence on Middle-Eastern and Venezuelan heavy crude by an estimated 40%.
Shutting down the pipeline also had an impact on the willingness of Energy Companies to invest in capital projects in the U.S., which has prevented more refining capacity & feedstock supply from being available on the world market.
