I'll have to go look in the library next time I'm back north. I hadn't really thought a lot about it until recent years and my relationship has been strained with my senior parents since I fell hard down the rabbit hole with Pizzagate, so I don't see them like I used to. One day I'll get to dig through everything and maybe get some questions answered.
Regarding technical methods in modern video systems, it gets very complicated very quickly. It's not a simple concept of splicing in a single film frame with a bucket of popcorn for an image. Now it's a mix of NLP reinforced by frequencies broadcast which basically open up the mind to suggestion and modification. I suspect that much of this goes on late in prime time and later, when people are full of junk food, drugs, alcohol, and half-asleep on the couch. Frequencies modulated through the varied component levels of the video signal can basically act as an enhancer to a slumbering sheep. It's like having a dream about something on the TV while it's on in the background.
Did you just mention Neurolingustic Programming? Ha I haven't heard anyone mention that term since I got deep into the pick up artistry community when I was 17.
Man that stuff was mind-blowing to see be put into practice. Humans are like computer systems that can be hacked by anyone who is knowledgeable enough about the concept of Programming. To outsiders unaware that computers can be hacked, it will sound silly.
The same thing applies to human minds with NLP and other conditioning paradigms. It's the closest thing to magic I've ever stumbled upon.
