Is the whole empty shelves thing actually a real thing? I've seen pictures before but where I live, I've never seen empty shelves. I'm always able to buy what I want from the stores.
The only real problem I've noticed lately is more money being spent to put less in the shopping cart. A week ago I paid $3.45/gal for gas and a few days ago paid $3.85/gal. A couple of weeks ago just picking up a few groceries, about $120 and not even much in the shopping cart. The only thing I've personally noticed a shortage of would be ritz crackers.
