We just paid 40 for 11 gallons of gas. It was 22 a year ago. We have had to go out of town sick family member plus it's the middle of winter and although I live in North Dakota sled dogs are not a viable form of transportation here.
High gas prices raise the cost of everything, it's not just about filling your vehicle. Stores pay increased freight costs, that cost gets passed on to the the consumer.
A former co-worker posted on FB that he thinks Russia should be sanctioned so they feel the pain. Obviously he's oblivious to the ramifications of this, especially on the food supply. I posted an article that explained that, and told him what goes around comes around and that when he starts feeling the pain I hope he remembers he asked for it.
