And why wouldn't she/they/we support the Ukranian people? No one said "support the Ukranian government". No one wants to see innocents caught up in this shitstorm. Unfortunately, that's war.

Yeah, feeling compassionate towards civilians in a conflict they didn't start and don't control is just normal. Nothing surprising about voicing such feelings. These people are having their lives turned upside down.
