Can someone please explain the money situation in Russia?

I know they are not involed in the Central Banking system, but why did their banks shut down and their currency going to nothing? Can't get a good explanation without MSM mucking things up.

thanks that helped me too. I guess Putin knows something we dont. Since this whole Ukraine thing seems very contrived and preplanned to me I am sure there are plans afoot to ensure this works as in other countries that are trading partners agreeing to go gold backed too (like BRICS) until they squeeze the cabal controlled ones into a position of do or die.
