Not pertinent to anyone who doesn't care what unfo the bible provides, but there are references to the Earth being round in several verses. I am not a bible reader, though a person of faith. I heard the verses recently on Trey Smith's video on youtube. He's great. Search for "God in a nutshell"

You interpreted something way wrong because the Bible doesn't contradict itself it clearly references flat earth so many times it's ridiculous so I don't know what you were reading but it couldn't have been the Holy Bible
