Thought inspiring article. The idea that a western bioweapon (capable of rapidly imobilizing/killing Soviet tank crews) changed the balance of power at the tail end of the cold war and accelerated the Soviet's collapse is fascinating. Provides additional context for events in the region. Well worth the 5 mins to read.
