Go legally. They're a little less accommodating of illegal immigration than we are. They've got real problems down there and their government's considerably more authoritarian. You will see soldiers armed with fully automatic weapons on the streets from time to time, even in the tourist areas. They do have a nationalized health system. It is absolutely broken. They do have a moneyed "elite" with ties back to the Spanish colonial era that live like kings compared to the average José.

Good people though, and good Catholic values. Real Catholics who actually go to church and pray to the saints, not fake ones like Pelosi or Biden. Also, appreciate that things move slower there. A LOT slower.
