Strange name... Q is in our LAN! Storm Q!
Good catch lol
Weather.com is calling it a "bomb cyclone." BOOM!
Kentucky here. We are supposedly getting 3in of snow Friday night. convenient right?
Anyway... get this gem in my inbox. Spectrum has never once sent an email to me telling me they expect outages. Ever. Especially over a possible measly 3in of snow.
What's new? I hear they are a very unreliable cable service.
I once lived in a town with cable that is now owned by Spectrum. The TV would go out if there was a light rain.
Not that they aren't unreliable, we all know that. Lol just strange an internet company is prepping people for outages. Just strange this week. Timing and all...
Tomorrow is the 11th of the month after all.
I don't know if Spectrum bought Coastalnet, or if there was just a name change, but I was one of the first subscribers to Coastalnet internet. BTW, I have a printout of an early subscriber list for Coastalnet. Email addresses back then were assigned by the provider.
I always get emails from my ISP regarding any weather that may disrupt the service, or planned maintenance outages, or other things of that nature. This isn't anything special and happens constantly, especially if you're expecting snow in your area.
Luckily, there won't be a winter storm in my area, just a very cold Saturday night.
