Been wondering this week if this could refer to us/patriots finding out that WE (our country, at least) are the "baddies".....

It isnt our Country, its a few select (most likely illegitimately elected) leaders that have done this. Its the same as China, Iran, NK etc. The people are fine its the ruling Elite that are corrupt.
