I just received the following email:
I'm Jon Gotow, owner and lead developer at St. Clair Software. I apologize for the unusual intrusion, but these are exceptional times.
As I'm sure you're aware, on February 24th Russia invaded Ukraine. The war has already driven more than two million Ukrainians to flee their country, while the remaining 42 million residents face dire circumstances as the Russian military ramps up attacks on civilian targets.
While St. Clair Software is located in the US, we have friends and fellow Mac developers in Ukraine that are directly affected by the war. One of those friends, Eugene Krupnov, asked me to contact my customers to encourage them to donate to help support his fellow Ukrainians.
How to Help
Eugene is offering his Unclutter app at whatever price you choose. All proceeds will be sent to the National Bank of Ukraine's special fundraising account for Ukraine's armed forces and other Ukrainian charities. Click below to donate and get a copy of Unclutter in the process.
They didn't say the value had to be positive either. Ask to donate -$5 for spamming your inbox.
