Reminds me of my dad yelling at the dogs for howling at the moon. One time he got after my sister's dog -- looked like a little papillon -- and told her to come into the house. She ran under a stuffed chair that had a skirt on it. As dad walked past the chair and down the hall, he said 'and I don't want to hear another peep out of you', at which point the dog poked her little head out from under the chair and said 'boof'.
