The USA is a Republic, so Yes they can and should. But Will they?

They don't have the stomach for it as it would mean loss of federal funds, and there are a lot of Dems and RINOs in state governments, so no real interest in doing that.

Oh yes sir, as soon as the arrests are made, and they are coming like a freight train running behind schedule. Already there has been preparation: 2018 massive base of Republican elected (?) officials refusing to run again, and 2022 we are experiencing the same on the Democratic side of the aisle, it has been record breaking. So relax, enjoy the show, because we are getting our country back.
