I came to a similar definition. I heard a lot about it and wondered what it was. Put in my email address for Dr. Malone and walla! I get his daily articles.

Funds (thus far) are getting to the authors but I have yet to donate via substack. Are they using an easily censored provider? e.g. Paypal, etc.
