1999, NATO aircraft bombed innocent Serbian men, women and children with depleted uranium rounds and cluster bombs. NATO actions broke multiple international laws. During 78 day campaign 2,300 missiles, 990 targets, 14,000 bombs including cluster bombs, 40,000 homes destroyed or damaged, 2,000 civilians including 88 children died, 300 schools and 20 hospitals were damaged, and 250 000 Serbs were forced to leave their homeland in Kosovo...
China doesn’t forget. They put out a tweet yesterday remembering the bombing of their Yugoslavian Embassy by NATO.
Been playing the long game on this for 25 years.
:o
You have got this one wrong I'm afraid. Kosovo is not (and never has been) serbs homeland. If you want to keep the same standard as how you see Russia now, then keep in mind that Kosovo is to serbs like Crimea was to Ukraine. On top of that, serbs were commiting genocide to people in Kosovo. It is sad that I see this example so misunderstood here. Thing is, many here have a black and white approach to past events and try to explain with what fits the current narrative. And yes, before NATO even bombed the serbs, there were a lot of talks for a peacful resolution where Kosovo would remain as an autonomous province still under serbs. But milosevic wanted it all and without the Albanians living there. It was a horrendous war with babies beeing killed in the woomb just because they were Kosovans. Now if you guys agree to all this and are fine with the genocide, then the moral compass isnt any better than Biden's one.
The point of the post is How when Biden "Bombed" it was legit, but when Putin Bombed, he's now a war criminal...!
“One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter.!” Ronald Reagan
That is a good example and by all means I agree with the "Biden is a hypocrit", but the post goes on with the horrendous numbers and gives the impression of "those poor serbs fucked by biden and clinton" while the situation is very different and actually far worse. Anyway, keeping to the point of your post, we can agree that Biden is a hypocrote (duh, we know that) and therefore both interventions were necessary (NATO back then, Russia now) in order to avoid a terrible, terrible far worse situation/genocide. Doubt anyone here will agree to this (beside me) but I am open to stand corrected. Wars are always bad and civilians are the ones to suffer always of course. But us here dont want to leave it to black and white. Heck, Putin can and probably is a POS himself but this time is doing something good. I dont know the why. Maybe forced by Trump, maybe "enemy of my enemy is my friend" who knows. But I am not lining Putin for nobel peace price just yet. He has his fair share of skeletons in a cupboard but at least this time, I believe he is doing us a favour (a good deed toward his Karma).
