Believing is acting upon His promise. Jesus offers God's forgiveness granted to the one who believes as well as the gift of the purity of Jesus, given to the believer. Believing is acting on His commitment to us. The action is humbly confessing waywardness and requesting forgiveness and acceptance while acknowledging Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior. It is simple. Believe He forgives. Believe He accepts. Acknowledge being an offender. Request forgiveness and acceptance. Trust Jesus.
