That's so sad to hear, anxiety can be so pervasive. You go about your day happy that you've made it and Zaz! Out of nowhere comes that crippling and exhausting wave of worries.
What helped me and made a difference? The Brief Therapy known as TEAM therapy. It's a cognitive therapy, with a lot of emphasis in breaking therapeutic resistance, measuring progress results and testing different methods at a personal level.
Also, if you manage to accept the idea that there's a God that is way bigger than your little world, and that if you beg him he can change whatever you need to be changed, that is very effective.
