"If you're confident that the police exist to protect you..." That just makes you a an ignorant mark. A conditioned citizen slave. Kapos protect the cabal, and that's all. Cops aren't even lawfully required to save you, or do anything, if they percieve that they are putting themselves in direct danger as a result... last I checked anyway.

We have laws. Those in charge do not follow the laws.

The police are beholden to the completely corrupt justice system.

Cut out the cancer. Replace it with nothing.
