well, yin yang is an ancient Chinese philosophy, not consistent with a Biblical worldview.
It is not directly applicable to the God of the Bible...with Whom there is no darkness and no shadow of turning... He IS THE LIGHT. He is not dualistic but a singular yet plural unity....Elohim.
It would not be applicable to Believers being here to balance evil I don't think, when we are called to follow the True Light, not a dualistic "light." It is an entirely different plane I suppose you could say.
I suppose it could be applied to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which would be a sort of yin yang dualistic understanding...but that tree refers to ALL evil, both sides of it...the dark and the "light" or what we would call false light...the satanic and the Luciferian you might say...not at all to the God of the Bible, El Elyon. For example...have you heard of the idea of there being the Good Witch and the Bad witch, such as presented in Wizard of Oz? One appears to be "good" and one appears to be "bad" but in a yin yang sort of way, they are both sides of the same coin.,..
...of evil...some appearing dark and some appearing light.
This is one reason why Biblical knowledge and discernment are SO important at this season.
