and I’ve heard that about ‘prosperity’/taking control of the earth, but then I read verses like this link below; about joining God in the sky, sure makes me wonder where we’ll end up.

I wonder about this, why would God want servants on earth if this place is run by the devil?
Does God want us to take Earth back, and stay here?
