I’ve been watching the Today Show (barely watching while I drink coffee and read GAW) since the inauguration. For three reasons:
- To see Savannah Guthrie get her dues
- To sense a narrative shift
- To catch the local weather future cast for rain times (in Florida.)
This morning was the first time in ALL of their coverage of Ukraine that they mentioned Ukrainians thinking that Russia was helping them and that Russia says it is not attacking civilians. Then they went on to show some BS coverage of the theater attack to try to show that Russia was lying as a way to try to counter that narrative. The counter coverage was poorly done in my eyes.
Let’s see if this is the beginning of the shift...
how often do you go to publix...?kek
Speaking of Publix, I had to pick up a prescription at Publix pharmacy yesterday. The guy said some spiel about how we need a tetanus shot every 10 years. Then he said, "I looked up your history just now in the system and you had one in 2016 so you're good. But do you want me to look up anyone else in your family to see if they're due for their tetanus shot?" Immediately said NOO. I found this very odd, and alarming.
That sounds like it's a HIPAA violation. Someone should tell him he's not allowed to give out your family's medical info even if it is to you.
Yea, I didn't like it. The whole convo felt scripted. I also don't think pharmacists should be telling you want vaccines to take. And why is that information about my vaccine history in their system anyway??!
If the information is about a minor child of hers, it is not a violation.
