Agree. I’m in Ireland - our vaccination rates are >95% in adults, 92% of over 12-year-olds, our government is cheerleading Zelensky & wringing their hands that all we’re doing is sending millions of euros in funding / donations & taking committing to taking in 200,000 refugees.

After a few centuries of colonisation, famines (genocide) & emigration, most of those left on the island are either complicit or complacent. Those with any genes for get up & go got up & left.

Wonder if I’m any better sometimes - only woke up 5-6 years ago & while I’d love to reform my own field/profession, politics & activism are something I have no experience in, was working crazy hours & I think most parties & NGOs are pretty controlled. Plus my head is wrecked… pretty much all my family & friends took the jab.
