Mods are compromised over there. Maybe .win altogether. About a month ago someone made a post that seemed to show most of the original mods no longer active, and the mods that are active are using alts to push narratives and sticky their own alt posts. They had some convincing evidence using different posts, timestamps, etc. It got memory holed and the user was deleted within a few hours. Never saw anything like that posted again either so I can't confirm the legitimacy. But if you pay attention to what gets stickied, it's clear certain narratives are promoted and others are ignored. I've even seen a few of my posts get disappeared with no explanation. Had I not been watching, I would never know. How many people post something and never go back to it unless they get a notification? I'd say, most users. I recommend everyone keep an eye on their posts, if for no other reason than to see what info they're trying to suppress there or even here maybe.
From a guy that was originally a user, and applied for a mod position, I can assure you that we spend more time banning shill and blatantly racist accounts then anything.
We're not interested in shaping a narrative. We also know that we are a haven to many leaving PW, so we let some memes and off topic articles slide (we even added a flair for them).
If you have posted something, or find something that you feel needs to be stickied, you can message the modteam or ping me directly. Im floating around here enough.
