My mother in law who is a vent protocol survivor was on the mend and was killing it on the rehab front (she was up and walking around, getting dressed, the works, almost on the verge of coming home) when she managed to get sick with a stomach bug and was reinfected with aspirational pneumonia yesterday. She's been submitted to ICU with high CO2 levels. Different facility this time and the docs are doing everything to keep her off the ventilator. She's been seeing her CO2 levels drop a bit in the last few hours, but she's got a long haul again. You pedes did it the last time with the power of prayer and I'm asking for help once again.
Thanks!
Love you guys!
Rusty...
Thanks for the tip! I will definitely make that suggestion. She was still in the rehab section when all this kicked off. But I had wondered if she isn't going to be more prone to pneumonia after all this. Yes, the badass MIT is for sure a rarity. I hit the lotto with mine. Thanks for the prayers!
As always, rooftop, you’re a wealth of information. I can actually add a little something about Manuka honey that may or may not be useful. It’s the one natural remedy I actually know a little bit about. 😬 So you’re right about it having antimicrobial like properties and is used for a plethora of different things so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was helpful in the way you suggested. Honey in general has antimicrobial properties but manuka has that something “extra” and that has to do with the flower the bees make the honey from, the manuka flower which is only found in New Zealand. In fact, you want to make sure that you are getting true, authentic, New Zealand honey and that is a web search project by itself that I won’t get into due to time and length.
What I used manuka honey for was my adult acne. You literally just put raw honey on your face and leave it on for at least 20 minutes and then rinse off. It works by sucking any toxins out of your skin and then “kills” the infection while at the same time soothing and hydrating your skin. My sister inlaw has used it for all of my nieces and nephews after my success and all of their skin has been much more manageable during puberty than me or my siblings was when we were teenagers. It’s been a long time since I researched all the uses it has but I remember some of the things blowing my mind over honey being able to be used as a cure.
A side note about it literally sucking toxins out of your skin... my coworker started doing the honey mask not long after she saw my results. She also gets Botox injections every 3 months or so. We started noticing that her Botox seemed to be wearing off much more quickly than it normally would. Like she would get her injections and then 4-5 weeks later she would feel like it was already wearing off. I finally had an epiphany that since Botox is technically a toxin, it would make sense that the honey was doing its job and pulling the toxin out. So, she started basically doing the mask from her cheeks down to avoid her crows feet area and forehead. Sure enough, that was the culprit. Her Botox went back to lasting its usual 3 months. 🤷🏼♀️
Where do you usually get everything from? The yarrow, GSE, and goldseal?
