I wouldn't worry too much about this. These morons will occasionally go to super small colleges because it's the only place they can get accepted as speakers given no one cares about them anymore and their "big name clout" will "help the underserved areas understand these professions better". I'm speaking from experience since I went to an even smaller college than this and they did the same crap, but called it "cultural credits", of which you had to have so many to graduate.
