Just because you program an AI to learn and think it doesn't mean that at some point it wasn't created in a way that allowed it to happen.
Even if you program it to be able to change it's source code, some "dewd" programmed the thing that allowed that.
My lighthearted comments were in the context of the discussion thread "Based on the parameters of some dewds programming".
Perhaps "Parameters" would be the main piece to carry with to your college wikipedia lecture. Are not most AI filled with some kind of parameters before being set upon its intended task? I ask this lightheartedly, not as a request for a long and deeply philosophical discussion that goes way off topic. :)
Haha sorry not offended, I can be pretty dry sometimes.
I'm not seeing where you clarify where AI would stop having initial parameters when being instantiated.
