I hear you. Having Disney turn out to be what it is, has caused actual grief for some close to me who have had their love of Disney as part of their entire lives. It was once... a wholesome illusion. Even for me. When I was just a girl I would sing When You Wish Upon a Star to my sweet dog. I believed the words.

What's always been weird for me is when entire families are so totally into Disney. I know a family whose adult children still collect Disney memorabilia, vacation at Disney, do Disney cruises, and of course involve their own children in it. They also have Masonic family ties.
